Calliope Chimaridou (I am unsure of the spelling of the surname) in 1929. Both Calliope and her sister, Marie (shown below), were friends with my grandmother and, I believe, went to school together also.

A fancy dress party in 1925. My grandmother, Mafalda, is the "ballerina" in the front and her sister, Yolande, is standing behind her, in the "court jester's" hat. I believe the woman leaning on the balcony is their mother, Fortunata. I am uncertain of the venue - my grandmother's notes seem to read "chez les Viamello", but I do not know who they were.

Raul Cohen on the balcony of Fortunata's and Clemente's apartment in the Mazarita district. He was a friend of Clemente. He would often come around and play the violin "like an angel" my grandmother remembered. Fortunata accompanied him on mandolin.
